Tenacity: How to keep kids interested

Parents feel like a failure when the child is not succeeding, but you simply need to reassess the situation and look at it differently. As the parent, you must comprehend that this is just a rough patch and there is light at the end of the tunnel.

•   Do some research on the task

•   Come up with new and exciting techniques.

•   Keep it going even when the child doesn't want to.

•   Switch up the routine.

•   Try a different approach, but still get accomplish with you originally set to accomplish.

•   Be consistent

Encourage your children how to complete a task from start to finish. Teach them about being tenacious. When you start, something do NOT give up, keep going until the end, the reward is far greater than quitting.
